Auditorium
The institute has its own state-of-the-art auditorium with a capacity of 750 people. The auditorium is fully air-conditioned and installed with solar lights to preserve energy.
Bioinformatics Infrastructure Facility
Gargi is one of the only two women’s colleges in DU to have the BIF ( Bioinformatics Infrastructure Facility). Students from any discipline of science can use this facility for bioinformatics projects.
Gargi Book Shop
This is the book store that provides all course books, stationary, as well as other study materials at reasonable rates. The Gargi College fees include all costs for providing these facilities and there is no extra maintenance charge taken by the students.
Computer Laboratories
There are three fully equipped computer laboratories at the college. They have 110 computers which are used by students at intervals or as per their requirements. The wi-fi connectivity is robust in these labs. Gargi College PG courses students also make full use of these for the practical training of their theoretical knowledge.
Food Court
The food court provides delicious and hygienic food at pocket-friendly prices. There is a wide variety of cuisines served. The main attraction is the “Happiness Corner” which is a new outlet of the food court.

If you want to take admission in M.Sc. Biotechnology under DU, you’ll need to apply through the official PG admission portal of DU. Admission is mostly based on the CUET PG exam scores, so you must appear for that exam and choose the relevant paper code for Biotechnology. Once the results are out, DU will release a list of participating colleges and courses with seat allotments. You’ll have to register, fill in your preferences, and then take part in the counselling process.
